Brown Rudnick is distinguished
by a culture of collaboration and entrepreneurialism. To cultivate these
attributes at the associate level, the Firm developed the Brown Rudnick
Associate Integration and Development (“BRAID”) Program. Designed to fully
integrate lawyers within their first three years of practice into the legal
profession, the BRAID Program focuses on relationship building and teamwork
as a platform to build a successful legal career.
The BRAID Program encourages associates to collaborate with colleagues,
embrace their own entrepreneurial spirit, work with intensity, and become
effective contributors to the Firm – all core principles of Brown Rudnick.
For first-year associates, the BRAID Program welcomes the new attorneys into
and acquaints them with the Firm, its members and procedures. First-year
associates receive substantial guidance on how to be a successful Brown
Rudnick attorney through orientation, small group meetings, mentor
relationships and opportunities to interact with partners and associates.
The BRAID Program provides opportunities for second- and third-year
associates to expand their professional networks by providing both formal
and informal settings to interact and train with other Brown Rudnick
attorneys across office locations. Additionally, the BRAID Program offers a
forum to foster associate communication, camaraderie and collaboration.
At the conclusion of their three years in the BRAID Program, associates have
established a foundation of relationships and experiences on which to build
an enduring and successful career.
